This was recorded in and around the first incarnation of the live band. my friends josh, paul and tarah filled out the lineup.

josh is one of my favorite people, his laugh makes me happy. i spent lots of time talking music, playing guitars and drinking beer around backyard fires at his place. we speak the same musical language. josh played guitar for the live stuff.

my friend paul played drums. i've known paul since freshman year of highschool and i love his drumming. i feel like he really wanted to be playing more guitar and bass at the time but im glad he decided to help me play these songs live and record on the album.

tarah is one of my oldest friends. her and her two siblings grew up in the same neighborhood as me and my two siblings. we all played together growing up in church etc. she has a way of finding what fits perfectly in between whatever everyone else has going on and she is incredibly underrated as a bass player. naturally, she played bass in our live sets.

i played everything else cause we lost a ton of tracks in between recording and when i started mixing. im impatient and didnt want everyone to have to rerecord etc. im also a control freak and have little patience.

i liked tarahs bass alot more than the stuff i half assed for this recording.
